I want to be a published Author – How can you help?
We have 3 packages available that enable authors at various levels to get their material published. For a new author we would recommend a full publishing package. Otherwise you may decide for your second book to take our package without the writing coaching.
How does Rock Your Life Publishing Work?
We are a hybrid model. We allow you to retain rights to your work, yet we publish your material to a fully professional standard inclusive of all aspects. Most self published books are easy to spot. Don’t let yours be one of them.
Do I have to give up my intellectual property?
No – This is one of the main differences between us and other publishing companies. You retain the rights to your information.
What does it cost?
We have 3 packages that start from $6,000AUD to $18,000AUD depending on your requirements. This is just a guide to scare off – wannabe authors. The fact is that you can write and print a book for about $20, but it will look like death and no one who knows anything about publishing would ever take it seriously. We see people weekly who do this. For a quality hard copy product that rival any book in a store for quality, layout and visual appeal a median budget somewhere in between the above two numbers is advisable, regardless of who you go with. Will you market my book like a regular publisher?
Most publishers do very little if any marketing, unless you are a well known best selling author. If your book meets our requirements we will distribute it in North America, New Zealand, Australia and perhaps elsewhere. We really look at each book on its merits. All the Authors you see on our Authors page have had their books at our stalls at Frankfurt, Milan, London and other book fairs. We promote at as many fairs as we can in a year. If your book has spunk it will stand out at a fair.
How do I know if my book will be any good?
We have an author coaching service and a manuscript appraisal service. You may enquire about both of these to make sure you maximise your potential.
